Warner will release Sex and the City 2 on Blu-ray Disc on 26 October. This underperforming sequel will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a BD-exclusive commentary, some featurettes (some of which are also BD-exclusive) and a Digital Copy. SRP is $35.99.

Buena Vista will release The Golden Girls: 25th Anniversary Complete Collection  on DVD on 9 November. This 21-DVD set including all episodes of the show will arrive with 1.33:1 transfers, stereo sound mixes, as well as some collectible playing cards (other bonuses are TBD). SRP is $149.99.

Fox is readying a standalone Blu-ray edition of Rocky IV for release on 5 October. This Sly/Dolph boxing epic will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, and a set of undetermined bonuses (though it's likely the same BD from the Rocky Collection from last year). SRP is $19.99.

We have it on good authority that Universal is preparing a release of Caprica: Season 1.0 on DVD sometime this fall. It could be as early as October, though no details are confirmed (it's still also up in the air as to whether a Blu-ray edition will also be available). We'll keep you updated....
