25 August will bring the Blu-ray Disc release of Adventureland from Buena Vista. This goofy comedy from the director of Superbad will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary with director Greg Mottola and Jesse Eisenberg, some deleted scenes (with optional commentary), a Soundtrack Selection bonus, a featurette, as well as a collection of featurettes that are BD-exclusive. The Oscar-nominated French film The Class is headed to Blu-ray Disc on 11 August from Sony. This acclaimed drama will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a French Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, though no bonuses have yet been confirmed. We'll keep you updated. SRP is $39.95.
The Oscar-winning Monster is headed to Blu-ray Disc from First Look on 1 September. This high-profile Charlize Theron serial killer drama will arrive with a 1080p transfer, but audio specs and bonuses (if any) have yet to be confirmed. SRP is $19.98.
Kutlur has announced a 28 July Blu-ray Disc release of The Pirates of Penzance. This swashbuckling musical will arrive with a 1080p transfer, but audio specs and bonuses haven't been formally announced. We'll let you know when we learn more. SRP is $39.99.

A quick delay to report: Universal has announced that their 26 May Blu-ray Disc release of Inside Man has been postponed a week, to 2 June. Specs aren't altered at all (1.85:1 1080p transfer, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, Spike Lee commentary, two featurettes), and the release's SRP remains $29.99.
