Tai Seng will release Look for a Star on Blu-ray Disc on 27 October. This Chinese romantic comedy starring international superstar Andy Lau will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 sound mix, and a set of bonuses that have yet to be confirmed. SRP is $29.95.

Warner has announced early details for their 15 December Blu-ray Disc release of The Hangover. This breakout comedy smash will arrive with both its theatrical and extended versions with 2.40:1 1080p transfers, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mixes, a picture-in-picture commentary (participants TBD), some featurettes, a gag reel, a stills gallery and some BD-Live goodies. SRP is $35.99.

Warner will release Harry Potter: Years 1-6 on Blu-ray Disc on 8 December. This newly repackaged collection will only contain the theatrical versions of the films (not the new extended editions also headed to Blu-ray this winter), with 1080p transfers and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mixes, as well as a set of bonuses that has yet to be confirmed. SRP is $134.99.

The Ashton Kutcher drama Spread is headed to Blu-ray from Anchor Bay on 10 November. The film will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with Kutcher, Anne Heche and Margarita Levieva, some featurettes and a picture-in-picture track. SRP is $34.98. 

8 December will bring the DVD release of the monstrous AK 100 box set from Criterion. This collection of twenty-five of Akira Kurosawa's greatest films will arrive with a collectible book (bonuses included on the films' previously-released Criterion editions will not be on the set).
