MTI has offered up initial details for their 24 November DVD release of The Witches Hammer. This Claudia Coulter actioner will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, a featurette, some outtakes and a set of trailers. SRP is $24.95.
Image Entertainment is bringing The Crew to Blu-ray Disc on 20 October. This thriller starring Scot Williams will arrive with a 1.85:1 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary track (participants TBD), a featurette and a slate of deleted scenes. SRP is $35.98.
First Look will release Deadline on Blu-ray Disc on 1 December. This Brittany Murphy flick will arrive with a 1080p transfer, and a featurette (audio specs are TBD). SRP is $29.98.
Sony will release The Mask of Zorro on Blu-ray Disc on 1 December. This Antonio Banderas franchise reboot will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with director Martin Campbell, a featurette, some deleted scenes and previews of the new Zorro installment. SRP is $24.95.
Early word has been announced for Warner's 3 December Blu-ray Disc release of Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut. This 4-BD set will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix. Disc 1 will house the new cut and a new commentary with Zack Snyder and Dave Gibbons, Disc 2 houses seven featurettes, Disc 3 is a Digital Copy of the theatrcial version of the film, and Disc 4 offers Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comics. SRP is $59.99.
