Blue Underground is readying a 24 November Blu-ray Disc release of My Brilliant Career. This acclaimed drama starring Sam Neill and Judy Davis will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary with director Gillian Armstrong, a set of featurettes and some trailers. 

Paramount has announced a 27 October DVD release of The United States of Tara: The First Season. This Toni Collette series' first go-round will arrive with 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mixes, though at this point, it looks as though no bonus features will be included. SRP is $42.99.

20 October will bring the Paramount DVD release of The L Word: The Final Season. This last hurrah from the successful Showtime series will arrive with 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers, and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mixes. Bonuses are still TBD. SRP is $59.99.

Final specs have been announced for Fox's 15 September Blu-ray Disc release of Wrong Turn 2: Dead End. This slasher flick will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary with director Joe Lynch and actors Erica Leerhsen and Henry Rollins, a second commentary with writers Turi Meyer and Al Septien, three featurettes and a set of deleted scenes. SRP is $29.99.
