6 October will bring the Blu-ray Disc release of Contact from Warner. This acclaimed Jodie Foster space drama will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, three commentaries (one with Foster, one with director Robert Zemeckis and producer Steve Starkey, and a third with the film's SFX team), as well as a music-only 5.1 track and a set of featurettes. Universal will release 17 Again on Blu-ray Disc on 11 August. This Matthew Perry/Zac Efron comedy will arrive with a 2.40:1 1080p transfers, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a set of deleted scenes, a collection of featurettes and a trivia track. SRP is $35.99.
We have early word that A&E is preparing a 29 September Blu-ray Disc release of The Universe Megaset. This collection of the hit series' first three seasons will arrive with 1080i transfers, though audio specs and bonuses (if any) have yet to be announced. We'll keep you updated. SRP is $179.95.

This Sarah Polley actioner will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a commentary track with director Doug Liman and editor Stephen Mirrione, a featurette, some deleted scenes and three music videos. New Wizard of Oz Blu-ray Disc info: The deluxe-packaged edition should arrive from Warner on 29 September. The bonuses are plenty: The set will include two full-length documentaries, a slate of featurettes, a sing-along track, a huge number of stills galleries, a 52-page book, and two BD-exclusive featurettes. The film will receive a 1080p transfer and a Dolby TrueHD sound mix. SRP remains $84.99.
