Box art has been released for Anchor Bay's 29 September Blu-ray Disc edition of Lies and Illusions. This Christian Bale actioner will arrive with a 1080p transfer, but audio specs and bonuses are still TBD. We'll keep you updated. SRP is $34.97.

We know that Kevin Smith's
Chasing Amy is headed to Blu-ray Disc in November, but the intriguing thing about this news is that this release just might be a Criterion one. The company has stated in the past that they're in the process of upgrading their earlier DVD edition of the film, but it's hard to say what the official word will be. We'll of course let you know as soon as we hear anything...

UMVD is readying a 27 October Blu-ray Disc release of
Monty Python: Almost the Truth. This documentary on the legendary comedy troupe will arrive with a 1080p transfer, though audio specs and bonuses are still TBD. SRP is $39.99.

6 October will bring the Warner Blu-ray Disc release of Horton Hears a Who. This original animated family classic will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a stereo sound mix, a documentary, and two animated shorts. SRP is TBD.

And here's the big news: Paramount is officially readying a 17 November Blu-ray Disc release of
Star Trek. This franchise-reboot from J.J. Abrams will arrive on BD with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, and a boat-load of extras. From the press release:
