Sony will release Blue Thunder on Blu-ray Disc on 11 August. This Roy Scheider actioner will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a commentary track, two featurettes and the film's theatricl trailer. SRP is $34.95.

Starman is also coming to Blu-ray Disc from Sony on 11 August. This John Carpenter film starring Jeff Bridges will arrive with a 1080p transfer, and a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix. No bonuses will be included. SRP is $28.95.

Also hitting shelves on 11 August from Sony is their Blu-ray Disc release of About Last Night.... This 80s favorite starring Demi Moore will arrive with a 1.85:1 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, as well as two featurettes. SRP is $34.95.

18 August will bring the Sony Blu-ray Disc release of Go. This excellent Sarah Polley film from director Doug Liman will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, as well as a commentary with Liman and editor Stephen Mirrione, a featurette, three music videos and a set of deletted scenes. SRP is $34.95.

St. Elmo's Fire is also coming to Blu-ray Disc from Sony on 11 August. This coming-of-age drama will arrive with a 2.40:1 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with director Joel Schumacher, a music video, and two BD-exclusive goodies: A set of deleted scenes and a second featurette.
