Final specs have been made available for Universal's 24 November Blu-ray Disc release of Funny People. This Judd Apatow/Adam Sandler film will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary with Apatow, Sandler, and Seth Rogen, some featurettes and deleted scenes, as well as some BD-exclusive goodies: More featurettes, more deleted scenes and some U-Control and BD-Live content. Fox will release Glee: Season 1, Vol. 1: Road to Sectionals on 29 December. This first installment of the hit new series will arrive with 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers, Dolby Surround sound mixes, a director's cut of the show's pilot, as well as a set of featurettes. SRP is $39.98.

There's absolutely no official confirmation as yet, but we have it on good authority that Paramount is perhaps weeks or months away from announcing a Blu-ray Disc release of The African Queen. This long-sought-after title has yet to even have a DVD release, so this news is welcome for all classic cinema fans. We'll let you know if anything comes down the pipe....
