Sandra Bullock Proposes, But Larry David Just Shrugs

We have early word that Sony is prepping an October DVD release of Whatever Works (exact release date is TBD). This Larry David/Woody Allen collaboration will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, and a set of bonuses that has yet to be confirmed. How the Grinch Stole Christmas is coming to Blu-ray Disc on 13 October. This Jim Carrey Dr. Seuss adaptation will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a Ron Howard commentary (both in regular and 'enhanced' versions), deleted scenes, a blooper reel, a set of featurettes, a music video and the film's trailer. Final specs have been announced for Warner's 6 October Blu-ray Disc release of Trick 'r Treat. This horror flick will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a short film with commentary with Michael Dougherty, and tons of BD-exclusives: A full commentary with Dougherty, two featurettes, and some deleted scenes.
