We have early word that Sony is prepping an October DVD release of Whatever Works (exact release date is TBD). This Larry David/Woody Allen collaboration will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, and a set of bonuses that has yet to be confirmed. SRP is also TBD.
iox will release Fight Club on Blu-ray Disc on 17 November. This Brad Pitt cult classic will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, and a still-undetermined set of bonuses. SRP is $34.99.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas is coming to Blu-ray Disc on 13 October. This Jim Carrey Dr. Seuss adaptation will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a Ron Howard commentary (both in regular and 'enhanced' versions), deleted scenes, a blooper reel, a set of featurettes, a music video and the film's trailer.
