Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie is headed to Blu-ray Disc on 29 September from FUNimation. This 2005 animated film will arrive with a 1080p transfer, though audio specs and bonus features (if any) have yet to be formally confirmed. We'll keep you updated. SRP is $34.98.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 
 
 
14 July will bring the Blu-ray Disc release of The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Curse of the Golden Flower, The House of Flying Daggers Trilogy from Sony. This triple-feature will arrive with 1080p transfers and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 transfers, but bonuses are still TBD (and there's no word as to whether Crouching Tiger will be available on its own...). Bob Funk is headed to DVD from Magnolia Entertainment on 23 June. Starring Rachael Leigh Cook and Amy Ryan, the film will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, as well as a director's commentary, a featurette and a stills gallery. Shout! Factory will release thirtysomething: The Complete First Season on DVD on 25 August. This inaugural set of the acclaimed drama will arrive with 1.33:1 transfers, stereo sound mixes, and a set of bonuses that have yet to be confirmed. SRP is $59.99.
