10 November will bring the Blu-ray Disc release of Up from Buena Vista. This stunning Pixar animated film will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a director commentary with Pete Docter, two animated shorts, two featurettes, a DVD edition and a Digital Copy, as well as BD-exclusives: Eight more documentaires, two set-top games, and a Cine-Exploire option. The Lionsgate thriller Shrink is headed to DVD on 29 September. This Kevin Spacey vehicle will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with director Jonas Pate and producer Braxton Pope, some deleted scenes, and a Jackson Browne music video. HBO will release Will Ferrell: You're Welcome, America on DVD on 3 November. This filmed version of the comedian's Broadway show will arrive with a 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, and a set of bonuses that hasn't yet been confirmed. Fox has announced a 6 October DVD release of Ally McBeal: The Complete Series. This long-awaited TV-on-DVD title will arrive with 1.33:1 transfers and stereo sound mixes, as well as a set of featurettes. SRP is $199.98.

 

 

 

 

And Up Isn't the only Pixar title to be announced over the weekend - Monsters, Inc. is also finally headed to Blu-ray Disc on 10 November. This classic Pixar picture will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, as well as all the bonuses afforded the film's special edition DVD release, both DVD and Digital Copy versions, three new featurettes and some BD-Live capabilities. SRP is $40.99.
