Cue the fanboy bitching: Yes, Warner/New Line has released box art for a Blu-ray Disc edition of The Lords of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy, and yes, early word leads us to believe these are JUST the theatrical versions and not the full epics. Sure, it's a drag, but we must remember that there are no fewer than THREE versions of all the Lord of the Rings films on DVD, so Frodo-nerds should prepare to double- and triple dip on BD. No specs or release date has been announced, but we'll keep you updated.
