Sony will release The International on 9 June. This thriller starring Clive Owen and Naomi Watts will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, though bonus features have yet to be confirmed by the studio. SRP is $39.95.
Disney has offered early word of a 27 October Blu-ray Disc release of TInker Bell and the Lost Treasure. This sequel to the hit straight-to-video animated adventure will arrive with a 1.78:1 1080p transfer and a PCM 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, as well as some deleted scenes (with filmmaker introductions), some featurettes and a DVD version of the film. SRP is $39.99.
Disney is also prepping a Blu-ray Disc release of The Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience at some point this summer. This concert film will be viewable in both 2D and 3D and will arrive with 1080p transfers and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mixes. Bonus features have yet to be announced (though we know the edition will come with a DVD edition. SRP is $44.99.
2 June will bring the Blu-ray Disc debut of The Graduate from MGM. This iconic Dustin Hoffman filim will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, and bonuses that are expected to mirror those on the film's most recent DVD edition. We'll keep you updated. SRP is $24.99.
The serial killer creep-fest BTK is coming to DVD from Lionsgate on 12 May. Starring Kane Hodder and Amy Lyndon, the film will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with director Michael Feifer and Hodder, a stills gallery and some trailers. SRP is $26.98.
Lionsgate is also prepping a 26 May Blu-ray Disc release of Carnivorous. This DMX horror flick will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 sound mix, a director commentary, a making-of featurette and a stills gallery. SRP is $34.99.
