We have early word of a pending Blu-ray Disc release of Chuck: The Complete Second Season from Warner (no specific date has been announced). This sophomore go-round of the hit show will arrive with 1.78:1 1080p transfers, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mixes, as well as a big slate of bonuses that have yet to be formally announced. Full specs haven't been announced, but we have initial details on Lionsgate's 14 July Blu-ray Disc release of Mad Men: Season Two. Final specs have been announced for Fox's 12 May Blu-ray Disc release of Taken. This hit Liam Neeson thriller will arrive with a 2.40:1 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary with director Pierre Morel, screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen and D.P.s Michel Abramowicz and Michel Julienne, and a set of featurettes. Warner will release Friday The 13th: THe Killer Cut on Blu-ray Disc on 16 June. This high-def release of the F13 remake from this year will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, some deleted scenes, three featurettes (two of which are BD-exclusive), and another BD-exclusive trivia track. SRP is $35.98.
