G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Funny People

It's still in the realm of rumor, but we have it on good authority that Paramount is readying a 3 November Blu-ray Disc release of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. This surprise blockbuster will arrive with a 1080p transfer for sure, but audio specs, bonuses and an SRP are all TBD. We'll keep you updated. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Final specs have been announced for Fox's 3 November Blu-ray Disc release of I Love You, Beth Cooper. This Chris Columbus comedy will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a collection of featurettes and some deleted scenes. SRP is $39.99.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Sony will release Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels on Blu-ray Disc on 1 December. This fan-beloved Guy Ritchie flick will arrive with a 1.85:1 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, and a featurette. SRP is $26.98.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Universal will release Funny People on Blu-ray Disc on 24 November. This Adam Sandler/Seth Rogen film from 40 Year Old Virgin director Judd Apatow will arrive with a 1080p transfer, but audio specs and bonuses (if any) have yet to be confirmed. SRP is $39.99.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Two pieces of Terminator: Salvation Blu-ray Disc news for you: 1) Cover art has formally been released (see left), and 2) It turns out the film's 'Director's Cut' only contains three more minutes of footage than the theatrically-released PG-13 version. We won't know what these mysterious three minutes hold until our review is put together, so stay tuned....
