We have early word of a 21 July Blu-ray Disc release of Coraline from Universal. This hit 3-D animated film from director Henry Selick will arrive with a 1.85:1 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with Selick and music composer Bruno Coulais, three featurettes, some deleted scenes, a handful of U Control and BD Live features, and four pairs of 3-D glasses (the film will be presented in both 2- and 3-D). Early specs have been revealed for Fox's 28 July Blu-ray Disc release of Dollhouse: Season One. This action show's first season will arrive with 1.78:1 1080p transfers, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound mixes, two unaired episodes, three commentary tracks, five featurettes and some deleted scenes. Summit Entertainment will release Push on Blu-ray Disc on 7 July. This Dakota Fanning actioner will arrive with a 2.40:1 1080p transfer, DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary track (participants TBD), a making-of featurette and some deleted scenes. We have final specs for Fox's 4 August Blu-ray Disc release of Big Trouble in Little China. This cult classic Kurt Russell thriller will see both its theatrical and director's-cut editions arrive with 2.35:1 1080p transfers, DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mixes, a commentary with Russell and director John Carpenter, some deleted scenes, a set of featurettes, a stills gallery, some TV spots and a few trailers. We have nothing but a street date and some moderate specs, but we have it on good authority that Kevin Costner's The Postman is coming to Blu-ray Disc on 8 September from Warner/New Line. This futuristic thriller will arrive with a 1080p transfer, but audio specs and bonuses (if any) have yet to be determined. We'll keep you updated. SRP is $28.95.
