Final specs have been announced for Sony's 9 June Blu-ray Disc release of The International. This Tom Tykwer drama starring Clive Owen and Naomi Watts will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with Tykwer and screenwriter Eric Singer, a set of deleted scenes, some featurettes, as well as some BD-exclusive goodies: A picture-in-picture track entitled The International Experience and a featurette that focuses on the director. The comedy Fired Up! is coming to Blu-ray Disc from Sony on 9 June. Starring Sarah Roemer, the film will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with director Will Gluck and actors Nicholas D'Agosto and Cric Christian Olsen, three featurettes and a gag reel. The British comedy Sisterhood is headed to Blu-ray Disc from Cinevolve on 19 May. Starring Emily Corcoran and Isabelle Defaut, the film will arrive with a 1080p transfer, though audio specs and bonus features (if any) have yet to be formally announced. We'll keep you updated. Cofessions of a Shopaholic will hit Blu-ray Disc on 9 June from Buena Vista. This comedy starring Isla Fisher will arrive with a 2.40:1 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, an extended featurette and two music videos (all of which are BD-exclusive), a blooper reel, some deleted scenes, and one additional music video. We have early word that Buena Vista is readying a 31 July Blu-ray Disc release of The Waterboy. This Adam Sandler comedy will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, but no bonus features have been confirmed. Stay tuned... SRP is $39.99.
