Criterion is prepping a 23 June DVD release of My Dinner With Andre. This near-impossibly hard-to-find Louis Malle cult classic will arrive with a 1.33:1 transfer and a stereo sound mix, as well as two interviews and a featurette. SRP is $39.95.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Criterion is also readying a 16 June Blu-ray Disc release of The Seventh Seal. This iconic Ingmar Bergman masterpiece will arrive with a 1.33:1 1080p transfer, a PCM Swedish mono sound mix, a Bergman introduction, a commentary with film scholar Peter Cowie, an audio interview with star Max Von Sydow, two short featurettes, an afterword from Cowie, and a full-length documentary on the director, Bergman Island. 23 June will bring the Criterion release of Last Year at Marianbad on Blu-ray Disc. This acclaimed Alain Resnais work will arrive with a 2.35:1 1080p transfer, a PCM French mono sound mix, a new documentary on the film, four featurettes and the film's original trailer. Final specs are in: the Jessica Biel film Powder Blue is headed to DVD from Image Entertainment on 9 June. The movie will arrive with a 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with director Timothy Linh Bui and producer Tracee Stanley, a featurette, a stills gallery and the film's trailer. A TV-on-DVD postponement to mention: Fox's 5 May release of The Mary Tyler Moore Show: The Complete Series has been indefinitely pushed back. No reason has been offered for the delay. We'll let you know when a new release date is announced.
