More info has been announced for New Line/Warner's Blu-ray Disc release of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. This seven-disc set will arrive with 1080p transfers, and will contain Digital Copies of each picture. Audio specs and complete bonuses are still TBD. SRP is $99.98.

4 August will bring the Paramount Blu-ray Disc release of The Soloist. This Robert Downey, Jr./Jamie Foxx drama will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with director Joe Wright, a set of featurettes and two BD-exclusive goodies: Another featurette and the film's trailer. SRP is $29.99.

25 August will also bring the release of Duplicity on Blu-ray Disc from Universal. This Clive Owen/Julia Roberts spy thriller will arrive with a 2.40:1 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary with director Tony Gilroy and producer John Gilroy, and some BD-Live access. SRP is $39.98.

22 September will bring the Universal Blu-ray Disc release of Shaun of the Dead. This Simon Pegg action comedy will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, though bonus features (if any) have yet to be formally announced. SRP is $29.98.
