We have final specs for Universal's 13 October Blu-ray Disc release of Land of the Lost. This Will Ferrell comedy will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary with director Brad Silberling, and four featurettes (two of which are BD-exclusive) and something called Doctor Marshall's Food Diaries (with optional Silberling commentary). SRP is $39.98.
Manga will release Ghost in the Shell 2.0 on Blu-ray Disc on 24 November. This new edition of the popular anime flick will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a commentary with director Mamoru Oshii and animation director Toshihiko Nishikubo, and a featurette (audio specs are TBD). SRP is $29.97.
Universal will release The Limits of Control on DVD on 17 November. This amazing new Jim Jarmusch film will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, and three featurettes. SRP is $29.98.
Universal will also release Thirst on DVD on 17 November. This film from the director of Old Boy will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, and a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, though no bonuses will be included. SRP is $29.98.
Universal is also readying a 17 November Blu-ray Disc release of Bruno. This Sacha Baron Cohen comedy will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, deleted scenes, a featurette, an audio commentary with Cohen and director Larry Charles, and a BD-exclusive video commentary with the star and the director. SRP is $39.98.
