23 June will bring the Blu-ray Disc release of The Pink Panther 2 from MGM. This second Steve Martin-as-Clouseau caper will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, as well as a slate of bonuses that has yet to be confirmed. SRP is $39.99.

No confirmed release date has been offered, but we have it on good authority that Warner is preparing a late 2009 Blu-ray Disc release for Gremlins and Gremlins 2. These critter flicks will arrive with 1080p transfers, but sound specs,  bonuses and an SRP are still TBD. We'll let you know when we learn more.

Image will release Alien Trespass on Blu-ray Disc on 11 August. This indie curio starring Robert Patrick and Dan Lauria will arrive with a 1080p transfer, but audio specs and bonuses are TBD. SRP is $35.98.

25 July will bring the Blu-ray Disc release of Green Lantern: First Light from Warner. This animated adventure featuring the comic book superhero will arrive with a 1.78:1 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, some featurettes, bonus cartoons and a BD-exlcuisve set of toons as well as an I Am the Ring documentary. SRP is $29.99.

Iimage Entertainment has announced plans to release the cult classic Billy Jack on Blu-ray Disc on 25 August. This Tom Laughlin actioner will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, as well as a set of bonus features that has yet to be determined. SRP is $24.98.
