More details have been announced for Warner's 3 November Blu-ray Disc release of Heat. This Al Pacino/Robert DeNiro thriller will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a commentary with director Michael Mann, a set of featurettes, deleted scenes, and a collection of trailers. SRP is $28.99.
More specs have been announced for Buena Vista's 17 November Blu-ray Disc release of Chasing Amy. This Kevin Smith comedy/drama will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, and four hours of BD-exclusive features, including a new commentary and a whole bunch of other goodies that should be outlined in the weeks to come. SRP is $39.99.
3 November will bring the DVD release of JAG: Season Nine. This latest release of the hit armed forces crime drama will arrive with 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers and stereo sound mixes. No bonuses will be included. SRP is TBD. 
The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 will arrive on Blu-ray from Sony on 3 November. This John Travolta/Denzel Washington actioner will arrive with a 1080p 2.40:1 transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, two commentaries (one with director Tony Scott, the other with screenwriter Brian Helgeland and producer Todd Black), and a set of featurettes.
