Warner will release a double-dip Blu-ray Disc edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone on 8 December. This new version of the first Harry Potter film will arrive in a new 'director's-cut' version with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, featurettes, deleted scenes, TV promos and some trailers. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is also headed to a double-dip Blu-ray release on 8 December from Warner. Also presented in a 'director's-cut' version, the film will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a set of featurettes, some trailers, deleted scenes, TV spots and trailers. We have a delay to announce: Severin's Blu-ray Disc release of Hardware has been pushed back from 29 September to 13 October. Buena Vista will release G-Force on Blu-ray Disc on 15 December. This hit animated guinea pig movie will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, some featurettes, three music videos, deleted scenes, and a DVD edition of the film. SRP is $44.99.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Final specs have been announced for A&E's 27 October Blu-ray Disc release of The Prisoner: The Complete Series. This Patrick McGoohan series will arrive with 1080p transfers, Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, a documentary, some featurettes, a music-only option on one episode, commentary tracks, stills galleries, commercial bumpers, and trailers for each episode. SRP is $99.95.
