Turns out our sources were incorrect as far as yesterday's news about Lionsgate's 19 May Blu-ray Disc release of Terminator 2: Skynet Edition was concerned. Accoridng to the studio's official press release for the film's new high-def edition, we'll get multiple THX-certified editions of the movie (all with newly compressed 1080p presentations taken from the existing Cameron-approved HD master), a new DTS-HD 6.1 Master Audio sound mix, two commentaries (one with various cast and crew members; another with director James Cameron and writer William Wisher), multiple picture-in-picture features (incorporating storyboards, text commentaries, stills galleries and excerpts from the film's script), as well as some interactive quizzes and games. SRP is $29.99.
